Title: Flex project creation error

I am running eclipse-helios with flexbuilder 4 plugin on my windows 7 64bit pc. Eclipse is working good for other project(flex only,java only, dynamic java with tomcat) but when i create flex project with server technology( j2ee with blazeds, tomcat) it says::

Errors were encountered while creating the project. Reason: One or more constraints have not been satisfied. It generates project files and deletes them with error above.

I have previously created many such integrated flex+java project with same configurations. I tried changing workspaces, uninstalling flex, eclipse and blazeds+eclipse.
The interesting part is it opens existing integrated projects and runs successfully. So i am copying existing project with new name and deleting the code content. i know this is not proper solution.
Then what are the constraints that have not satisfied. Please help me.

check the flex compilers are configured properly and default project settings for sdk etc. You can chck the sdk and default settings in
window -preferences- flash builder- Installed SDKs

try updating the sdk

also you can try reinstalling your java

I tried to do the same thing but having the same problem. I guess the problem is the 64bit processor, we need a 32 bit one.

I have 64 bit processor but 32 bit win 7 , so it could be 64 bit win7 version which could be causing the prob.

@friend,
there was nothing to configure except choosing version and location of flex sdk.
i again uninstall everything and downloaded flex sdk 4.1, new jdk and tried them. But still the same. I tried creating new user account(so that fb creates fresh setting) too.

@saurin & andrid
i am running win7 64bit in my core2duo(64bit) processor. I think they are not creating problem. coz i already created so many projects with similar config.

Thanks for reply.
What might be the problem and solution. Except reinstalling win7 once again.
Please help.

I guess you can run a win7 32bit in VM player on your machine and try installing everything in there.

I am facing similar issue. I am on Win 32 so its not a Win 64 issue alone.
I already checked that flex compilers are configured properly and default project settings for sdk. The error message is very cryptic and the reason given is that "one of more of the constraints are not met". Can anyone point to why this happens?

@gt_ebuddy : Thanks for your suggestion. Galileo worked for me; I guess the problem is specific to Helios.

Cheers!

Not yet for Helios, the new flex 4.5 plugin is for the Eclipse 3.6 and above, so left with only helios and i am recieving same error while creating flex project with blazeds and java.
