it happens when the text is dynamic , use static text instead

To make the dynamic text appear in any angle you should embed the fonts. Select the text box and in the properties window click on Character embedding , select the required character set. now your text inside dynamic text box should be visible in any angle. Remember the character embedding is enabled only when Anti-alias value is not "Use device fonts"

A sample wont show you how to embed fonts. Try these steps

1 select your text box
2 Go to properties window
3 Change the Anti Alias combo value to "Anti aliasing for animation".
4 Now press the "Character Embedding" button, a window appears , select "all lowercase" and "all uppercase" and close the window
5 that's all fonts are embedded now.

if you are not still able to understand then see some tutorial to embed fonts in flash.

the method suggested by Forbes is for Flash CS not flex . Always mention the technology in your question to get proper answer.

To embed fonts in flex 3 see this link , it also contains the live examples to rotate text after embedding fonts . I hope it works for you
