Title: Record a live video streaming session having more the one cameras into a one video file

Hi All
is there any way to Record a live video streaming session having more the one cameras into a one video file.

For example :- In live video conference, we have more then one live video camera user in the one session. Is there any way to record that multiple camera stream into one video file or record a session into one video file

I'm using a FMS for live streaming... Please help me to find out the right solution to archive a session .
Regards
Manpreet

this is not technically possible to achieve in flash or FMS server.FMS Server only receives the video packets and write them to file . Just like a file is uploaded.
Merging two videos into one single file require good processing and time so cannot be done in a live stream. You have to search some third party software that can take the flv files as source and merge them to generate a single flv file.

if you install any software on server that will merge streams then it wont be able to run more than 3-4 processes at a time (That too in case of very good processor). It requires good processing so you should see whether you want to do it for just two streams at a time, or many sets of streams. I mean to say that this thing cannot be scaled to bigger level for live streams. Your requirement is quite unique and I couldn't find such software which can merge two flv files.

Thanks Devis,

we have two live cam feed session.we want to archive and play that session.you have an idea how we can do this that will sync the two archive video streams.

for example:-
If we have two camera video played in the one common session and one cam is started first and after 2-3 min. other cam also working.

Now question is that how we can sync that 2-3 min when we play both archive streams at a time.
please help me and give me some idea..
