Title: Configuring Eclipse with Flex 4.5 sdk

Hello guys,

Could anyone help to configure Eclipse with Flex 4.5 sdk, so that it could be used in conjunction. I really don't have idea of the setting this and get going.

If any one has done this, please guide me out with a comprehensive description regarding installation and configuring eclipse. Or a link / reference would also do. This would also help other who just as novice as me.

Humble Regards,

you can install multiple Flex or Flash Builder sdk's in Eclipse. For this first you need to download the required SDK from Adobe Website and copy that sdk in the "sdk" folder inside your flex installation folder. Now open the Eclipse and goto

Window --> Preferences --> Flash Builder --> Installed FLex SDK's

Here you can add the folder path of newly copied SDK using the add button. Thats all

Thank you (RedBull) for your swift reply,

I have downloaded the latest flex 4.5 SDK from adobe. Meanwhile i happen to have Eclipse Galileo, but I am unable to locate the Flash Builder tab under Preferences.....

Am I missing something ? Or do I need to download the latest Eclipse and follow the step suggested by you. I don't wanna use Flex or Flash Builder, its simple i cannot afford it.
Could anyone guide me through !
