Title: Desktop app using adobe air
I have a complex excel from a client, it's pretty large excel, 4 megs and it has tons of buttons etc, basically a home grown excel app they've started to work on for many years of layers. I don't want to convert the excel app, I have a really nice adobe air app that is a frame, and on the edges is reference info. I can communicate to the excel app and back but how can I mashup so the excel application is inside the frame of adobe air?
I've tried a bunch of approaches like browser and such. Any help or direction would be tremendous!

the only possibility that I see To open excel inside adobe AIR application is using browser. I have not tried it yet but if the ActiveX plugin of Excel is installed on the Pc then browser should be able to open it inside.
