Title: problem happened after published


Hi,

this is Ella, how're u!!

I've made a simple web design and its anything smooth when I test in Flash, but I published it in website, the portfolio & contacts sections need to wait around 10-15sec after click, I've no idea what happen, don't know could you help to check it please, I'm really confused ...

this is the website which I've done:

in case you are using a single flash file for all the links , you should use preloader to load the file completely for smooth and quick functioning.

Flash shows the data as its loaded so the initial frames show up quickly because they are loaded first the later frames can take time to load depending upon the internet speed.

you should try optimizing your flash file. The images and sounds can be compressed to make swf file size small so that it is loaded quickly on the internet.

On local testing it will work fast but on website it has to come through internet so it will take time to download and show.

so in this case, should I add preloader?? or make the swf file a bit smaller will be better ?? cos I'm not sure can I add the prelaoder now...

you can add the preloader any time. Preloader is the best solution. By reducing size of the swf file you can reduce the delay time but may not be able to make it instant. So I will recommend you to add preloader. Its easy to add.

I've tried to add the preloader before intro, but it's loading very slow in web... so i may try to add it before portfolio section, hope it works...thx guys
