Title:
flash problem
I clicked on a link on Facebook, that went to a UTUBE movie the other day, it said I had to upgrade my flash player, I let it upgrade, the page came up and said the installation was successful, but the movie will not play, I still get the YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE, I UN-INSTALLED FLASH, CORRECTED THE REGISTRY, LET IT REINSTALL, I STILL GET THE ERROR, i HAVE UNINSTALLED, REINSTALLED, CORRECTED THE REGISTRY, 5 TIMES, I AM GETTING MAD, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG, WHEN IT FIRST DOWNLOADED IT DOWNLOADED GOOGLE CHROME, WHICH I DON'T WANT SO I UNINSTALLED IT, SOMEONE TOLD ME GOOGLE CHROME IS THE PROBLEM, BUT I GOT RID OF IT DAYS AGO, FIX THIS GODDAMN THING, MY FAVORITE ECARD WON'T PLAY CAUSE IT IS FLASH, I HAVE WEBSITES I WORK ON THAT WERE DESIGNED IN FLASH, AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE VIDEOS ON UTUBE ONCE IN A WHILE.
I CHATTED WITH SOMEONE THE OTHER DAY AND SHE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT HAVING TO UNINSTALL THE OLDER VERSION OF FLASH BEFORE UPGRADING, BUT I SAW THAT AS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION ON YOUR PAGE SO I TRIED THATM, DIDN'T WORK. PLEASE THIS IS MAKING ME CRAZY!

try using the flash player uninstaller provided by adobe.com to remove the existing flash player and then reinstall it. Try using Firefox or internet explorer, they both use different players so there is possibility if one is corrupt other will work.

I hope you are aware that IE needs ActiveX Plugin for (Flash Player) which is separate from the Plugin installed for Firefox and other browsers. If Flash player working on other browsers than IE?
You can try installing the debug version of Flash player intended for developers. Try if this works for IE
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/10/flashplayer_10_ax_debug.exe
for other browsers see this link
