Title: Flex 4 video player


Hi all,

I tried giving youtube video as the source url for a flex 4 videoplayer. It dint play.. How do i play a live video (any url like http or rtmp) by progressive download and streaming in flex? can someone give inputs?

To play a progressive video you just need to have a video / audio flv file and provide relative path to videoplayer in the flex.

For live video feed you need to have a media server FMS RED5 etc. Youtube videos does not play by giving source. They don't allow.

Thanks for your inputs. Do you know any examples of progressive video that i can look into? If so, it would be off great help to me.
