Title:
How do I play audio files on the iPad?
As the new Flash 5.5 allows the development of apps on the iPad, I am currently trying to figure out how to have my app have audio. I've done the normal steps, and I can have my app play on my iPad (as I did do the Development website on the Apple website).
So, am I able to develop apps on the iPad with audio? I have audio files in the scene already, which is why I'm asking. I'm aldo developing it for the Android also, but I currently do not have an Android to test the project.

flash does not have a Operating system dependency. Any thing you create in flashwill work on every operating system that supports flash player. Android 2.2 and above only support flash player. So there will be no issues using the same flash application on and android 2.2 with flash player installed.

Thank you for the answer Inder. It turns out I figured out why though, and that's because I was using Air. 2.6, when I should have upgraded to Air 2.7 . That fixed my problem, but thank you for your answer also! It's very helpful to know overall.
