Title: Flex online video conference

Hi I am in a need to create an online video conference application.I am open for suggestion.Which is the best way to attain optimal quality of audio and video chat.I heard LiveCycle Collaboration service is going to be shut down by adobe.I would like to go with flex rather than flash for client side.I heard good about Flash Media Development Server. Thanks in advance.

LCCS worked with P2P and fallback to RTMP. Using Adobe flash media server you can create P2P(almost neglidgible latency) application and RTMP(little latency) both.

For P2P and RTMP together you need Flash Media Enterprise server(Costly) of Its hosting service which is cheap alternative.

For only RTMP based conference you need just FMS server normal version or WOWZA / RED5 etc . I am Expert with 9 years experience creating Flex conferencing applications. Sending you my contact details on your email.
