Title: Can I add files to Flash without the import menu- Flash CS3 professional

Flash tends to crash or freeze for a while when I open the import menu. Is there a way of copying across/importing files into Flash without this? Via Adobe Bridge?

if you are using latest version of flash then you can simply drag files to stage and they are imported automatically. Flash always takes a few seconds to import.
Corrupt files can cause a crash, like some jpeg images can be partially damaged which show up fine in browser but can cause crash while importing in flash.
