Title: video player


hi ,
i have one video player and progress bar i want to auto play the video player once progress bar reached 50% in his progress. how can check that condition in flex.how can i know progress %?. i set min 0 max 100 .
please help me.

you can set the buffer value to 50% of video size so that it does not play until 50% of video is loaded.

use progrss event in the videoDisplay component flex to see how many bytes are loaded , and also you can check how much is the buffer full. Say your movie is 100,000 bytes then when progress event tell s you that loaded movie is more than 50,000 bytes then it means its 50% loaded and you should call the play function to play the video. I hope it works for you
