Title:
Can I play flash on TV?
Hi.
I really need some help. I want to play my swf movie on my DVD player, it has a menu made in flash with actions on it like; play move, scene selection and special features. This is not an animated movie, it is realtime or whatever you call it. I downloaded "Amor SWF to VCD SVCD DVD Creator and Burner", but when I tried it on my DVD player it just skipped over my main menu and went black, playing the music I had on the main menu (I put some music there playing before the movie starts).
Is there anyone who know what to do?

the problem seems to be in the converted video. The software that you are using to create swf to VCD/ DVD etc should convert the swf to required format properly so that it can be played on the dvd player .See the video files on your cd and try playing them in some media player like VLC or WMP on computer, they will appear black with music , which means the software failed to convert the swf to video properly

Thank you. I will try and convert the video in some other way.

if you are using flash cs then there is a option to export the swf as video file . Go to "File menu" then "Export" then "Export Movie" In the Export window , Give the name and change the "Save as type" to "Windows AVI" or any other video format you require.
Now you can use some cd or DVD writing software like nero to create VCD DVD etc by adding this avi file. I hope it helps you .
