Title: NetConnection.Connect.Failed


Hi im trying to connect to a Flash Chat box on a website and get this error on ym own computer on a fiends network, Any idea why

I do not get this on any other computer on his network NOR do I get it on the laptop I am trying on my own network

the connection failure can be due to some firewall installed on this computer. RTMP connection works by default on 1935 port and then port 80 . Use this link to test if your ports are open and will be available for server connection

Since your problem is from a particular system . the reason is that your flash application is not able to access the Flash Media server. The Reason can be blocked ports, Some firewall or some antispyware or antivirus. To resolve this , disable your firewall/ antivirus/ antispyware for some time and see if it works.

Yep Port: 1935 was blocked going to try and unblock it both within the Router and Nortons and will try to see if that works

im having NetConnection.Connect.Failed on a freechurchstreaming website i went to that link it said all my ports were fine
what could it be

there could be some problem in the server side scripting . In that case the application will not load on server and connection will fail.
