Title: Remote Desktop Connection


Hi all.

Is there any api available from flex to connect teamviewer which is running on the client machine?

well , flash is quite weak on this part . The adobe has restricted desktop sharing in the flash. Some work around are there but not very successful. I tried this for 2 months but left it after not finding a proper solution. If you really want this then you need to use a JAVA applet with flash / flex application . And you would also require a server like FMS WOWZA which will handle the desktop video. Flash web application are not powerful enough to capture desktop and send the click information to another user. Flash application can communicate with the applet to initialize it stop it etc , making applet run from with in the flash. All other work can be done by the applet .

Hi..

Is there any way i can connect remote desktop without using IP.
for eg: Team viewer is one such software..
i need some other open source software which works like teamviewer

check this link , the splitmedia labs provide a java plugin to share the desktop

But I think its not free
